Metropolis

Metropolis is a re-imagining of the film Metropolis (1927) in a sci-fi 1980s setting, set against a backdrop of political turmoil and class division. The main character, Freder, leaves her wealthy life behind after meeting Maria, the revolutionary and rebel that leads the ordinary people in a protest against the company owned by Freder's father for the poor treatment of workers.
